Who We Are
Embossed Studio is a design-led print studio creating custom work across paper, leather, acrylic, and other materials, based at embossedstudio.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our site, request a quote, or work with us on a project, and how we use, store, and protect it.

Information We Collect
Quote and contact form submissions. When you submit a quote request or contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, company name, project type, budget, requested completion date, project details, and any files you attach. Submissions are processed through Contact Form 7, and the submitted form details are stored in our WordPress database via the Flamingo plugin so we can review, respond to, and track inquiries.
Uploaded artwork and files. If you upload artwork, logos, or reference files as part of a quote request, Contact Form 7 temporarily processes the files and may attach them to the email notification sent to us. Contact Form 7 removes its temporary copy after processing, but copies may remain in our Gmail correspondence or project records if needed to review your inquiry or produce your order. Files may contain metadata, such as embedded location data in images; we recommend removing this before uploading if you would rather it not be included.
Website usage data. We use Google Analytics and Google Site Kit to understand how visitors use our site, including pages viewed, time on site, general location, and device type. Google Ads may also use cookies to measure advertising performance and conversions. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google’s browser add-on, or manage ad personalization through your Google Ads settings.
Spam and bot protection. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions come from real visitors rather than automated bots. Turnstile may process your IP address and browser characteristics as part of this check. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.
Cookies. Our site uses cookies for form security (Cloudflare Turnstile) and analytics (Google Analytics/Ads). We don’t use cookies for comment or login functionality unless you’re a registered site administrator.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected above to respond to quote requests, produce and fulfill custom orders, communicate with you about your project, and understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.
When you contact us or submit a quote request, our correspondence is handled through Gmail, a service provided by Google LLC. We retain email correspondence according to the periods described below.
How Long We Keep Your Data
We generally retain quote requests that do not become active projects for two years. For completed client projects, we generally retain project files and related correspondence for seven years after the project is completed so we can support the work and maintain appropriate business records. Financial and order records may be retained longer when required by applicable tax, accounting, or legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your data sooner; see “Your Rights” below.
Third-Party Services and International Data Transfers
We work with the following third-party service providers, which may process your data outside your country of residence:
- Contact Form 7 / Flamingo — stores form submissions in our WordPress database.
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Site Kit (Google LLC) — website analytics and, where applicable, advertising. Data may be processed on servers in the United States and elsewhere.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.) — bot and spam protection for our forms. Data may be processed on servers outside your country.
- IONOS — hosts our website, WordPress database, and website files.
- Gmail (Google LLC) — handles our business correspondence and email attachments.
We don’t sell your personal data, and we only share it with these providers as needed to run the site and deliver our services.
Your Rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@embossedstudio.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, except where we need to retain information for legal, tax, or security reasons.
Depending on where you’re located, you may have additional rights under laws such as the EU/UK GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws (for example, the right to data portability or to opt out of certain processing). Contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate applicable requirements.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date.
