Custom Invitations / Embossed Studio

Invitations,
Designed to Be Kept

Foil stamping, embossing, and letterpress — pressed into the surface that fits your event. Every suite is drafted, mocked up, and approved before anything goes to print.

Made for Your Event

An invitation is the first thing a guest holds. At Embossed Studio, we design and produce custom invitations for events that call for more than a template — foil stamped, embossed, or letterpress printed onto paper, specialty stock, leather, or acrylic. Every suite starts with your vision. We draft the design, you approve it, and only then do we source the materials and bring it to print. Nothing is off the shelf. Nothing goes out until you've seen it.

The Finish

Techniques That
Do the Talking

Each impression changes how an invitation catches light, meets the hand, and holds attention.

01

Foil Stamping

Heat and metal leaf, pressed into the stock until it catches light from across the room. Gold, silver, copper, or a colour matched to your palette — applied to cotton paper, leather, or acrylic.

02

Embossing

A raised impression, felt before it's read. We use it to lift a monogram, a crest, or a single line of text off the page.

03

Debossing

The quieter cousin of embossing — detail pressed into the surface rather than lifted from it. Suited to understated, tactile finishes on heavier stock.

04

Letterpress

Ink meets paper under real pressure, leaving a texture you can trace with a fingertip. For invitations meant to be handled, not just read.

Surfaces, Chosen
for the Occasion

02

Leather

For invitations built to be kept rather than opened once. Embossed or foil stamped, often paired with a debossed monogram.

04

Tissue & Overlay

A soft first layer — printed, foiled, or left plain — for suites that unfold in stages.

We source once your design is approved, from vendors chosen for the specific piece — not a standing catalogue.

The Process

From Your Vision to
Your Guests' Hands

You share your vision — a theme, a palette, a feeling, even a reference you've seen and loved.

We draft a design and mockup, built around the technique and surface your event calls for.

You approve — nothing moves forward until it's exactly right.

We source the materials and finishes, working with vendors chosen for the piece.

Your invitations arrive, ready to send.

Approval Before Production

You See It Before
It's Made

Every mockup is a reference point, not a final. You review the design, the finish, and the stock before anything is sourced or printed. If something needs adjusting, it's adjusted — before production, not after.

What to Know

Common
Questions

What can you print invitations on?

Paper, specialty stock, leather, acrylic, and tissue — chosen based on the design, not a set list.

Can you match our event's existing branding or save-the-date?

Yes. Share what you already have and we'll design around it.

How does a project begin?

With a conversation. Tell us the event, the date, and the vision — we'll take it from there.

Do you work with wedding planners and event designers?

Regularly. We're comfortable collaborating directly with your planner, designer, or in-house team.
